AhlulBayt News Agency - The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that inmates at Hama prison have staged a riot for the second time this month.
“A new riot started in the central Hama prison appearing to be more serious than the previous one as the prisoners were able to detain the director of the prison, the head of police in Hama city and non policemen,” reported the SOHR.
Local authorities in Hama have cut water and power to the prison in a bid to help end the siege.
Ajnad al-Sham, the local terrorist group, showed support for the first mutiny earlier this month. They are yet to express support for this latest mutiny.
